I guess the place to start is to explain the Apple products I use and how I use them. I guess I'll explain the hardware I use first. I use a 17" MacBook Pro as my "everyday" computer and I have a 21.5" iMac in my office on campus. I also have an iPhone 3G and some iPods. I also just received my iPad!
A key to my current set-up is Dropbox.com. If you're not currently using Dropbox, I'll post shortly about why you should be using it. For now, I'm just going to say that it is a lifesaver and makes living on multiple computers much easier. I don't worry about forgetting a jumpdrive or not updating the files on a drive. Dropbox requires a little organization to get the most out of it, but with a little forethought, it's a simple and reliable solution.
Well this concludes the first post of this blog. I'll try to keep posting on a regular basis. I hope you find this information useful.
